To celebrate the 85th anniversary of Chow Tai Fook Jewelery, we were commissioned by Forevermark diamonds to create a mechanical paper installation: an iconic central display cabinet to showcase their new ‘Enamor’ collection.

Layers of intricately cut paper, gently lit, created a magical forest in which the jewelery was displayed. With automated elements and delicate paper butterflies an enchanted and magical diorama was created, a dynamic showcase for the diamond pieces.

The intricately cut paper layers created the atmosphere of a magical forest glade in which the sparkling diamond pieces were showcased, with mechanical movement bringing attention to each key piece. A mechanised ring box opened and closed to reveal tantalising glimpses of one of the new rings, whilst a necklace was lowered on a gossamer thread into the hands of a waiting lady. Projections mapped onto the surface of a book told the story behind the new range of jewellery.
